Birth stories

As well as being an avid blogger, I am also a fan of Facebook. I have a large circle of friends and acquaintances, many of whom have children or are pregnant. There is one application that many people use that asks the Facebook user questions about other users. The question is then posted on both users wall.
I had an old school friend answer a question about me. She was asked what she thought I would say to her if I could read her mind. She answered that I would reassure her about giving birth! I didn’t really know what to say to that! I didn’t have the easiest of births with either of
my boys. I lost a lot of blood both times and had to stay in hospital for a week both times. I just told her to have an epidural-safest answer I think!
I was given an epidural when in labour with Toby and the relief was amazing! I didn’t have an epidural with Oscar and I although I was proud of myself for managing to cope without it, I know if I had to go through it all a third time I would ask for an epidural as soon as I got to hospital!
