Women’s Health Screening – Part 1
You can be your own nurse by asking a few questions that will follow. The questions relate to participation in sports and they are designed to ferret out possible future injuries. If you are diagnosed with a problem, you need not necessarily stop activity. You might have to reduce activity for while but a good sports doctor might be very helpful with the menu that you need. The questions to ask follow lifestyle issues
Lifestyle
People do sometimes have detrimental lifestyles that can cause illness or injury. Think about your lifestyle. Can you point to something that might become a bigger problem? Get together with a friend, a therapist, a doctor, someone you trust who will listen and go from there.
Questions are:
Do you smoke?
Do you drink more than seven alcoholic drinks per week?
Have you ever used any street drugs?
Do you forget to wear a seatbelt?
Do you forget to wear a helmet while riding a bike or motorcycle?
Do you have trouble sleeping two nights per week?
Do you feel completely stressed without any relief on the horizon?
Do you regurgitate after eating?
Do you use laxatives regularly to eradicate a bloated feeling?
Do you take pills and teas to reduce water weight?
Have you ever taken anything to lose weight?
Have you ever taken anything to help you grow muscle strength?
Have you ever taken anything to keep you awake?
